Nandita ma'am, I know for a fact that pets are like our family members and their loss is hard to get over. But, honestly, even Scooby won't like you to be sad. Just pray for his peace and adopt a new one.

Golden retrievers and Labradors are my favorite too and someday I will own one. For relaxing your mind and to get over scooby, try watching movies like Air Buddies, Beethoven series, Marley and Me and even Garfield.

Thanks.

Sheel, please get a vet to come home and evaluate the situation immediately. It could be muscle or bone related but the symptoms sound disturbing and she may have picked up something nasty. The excessive biting could be from her being in a lot of pain. In any case finding a vet who will come home and look at her will be best.

I have a almost 7.5 years old Rottweiler. Iam planning to buy a bull mastiffs for my home and companion to Rottweiler. I have asked local pet keepers to get one for me.

The problem is with time, these dogs get so attached that the death of one can put the other to serious depression. So if I may suggest, let the Rottie be alone as he is already used to and get a bull mastiff once this one retires.

1 month... It's been a year since I lost mine and it still hurts. Whenever I go home, still expect her to jump out of nowhere. I am not sure how can one get over it .. getting another one - that fear would still remain.

Enzo is a Gaddi from Barshaini near Manikaran taken from a shepherd family. They are subfamily of TM but with more leaner body and have a bit of Bhutia blood in them. Nature wise similar to TM like being aloof, adamant, protect kids and pretty headstrong to bigger opposition as well.

I agree also having 2 big dogs is a handful. If you have one cherish him. Also objectively we tend to feel more than them. But each dog and their companion are different.

Just heard and wanted to know if it is true. If a owner cuts the dogs tail, will the dog leave them? Heard this practice is used to get rid of the dog from ones family.
