Thank you pyrodrive. I can add this to the daily food pack I prepare every week.

I saw the cctv recording - the person gets down from the scooter, immediately picks up the brick, and throws at the dog. The dog is not seen in the same cctv video, it is only visible in another cctv video, and was atleast 20 ft away from the person.
Unfortunately for me, the scooter was parked at side of the road where the cctv coverage cuts off and I could not get either the scooter number or the face of the person.

The dogs and cats we own are all in Coorg now. In Bangalore, we only have an aquarium with 9 fish now. 6 koi carp and 3 parrot fish I think

Well, she's back. Walked in to the house today like nothing had happened, meowing for food. Still limping a bit and of course the ear is missing. Eye is still shut most of the time, but opening once in a way and I think there is vision, not sure of course.

Crazy recovery from such injuries in such a short time. Amazing. Thanks guys for the tips.

Cutie. Reminds me of my cats when they were so little. In your previous post you meant one and half month old right? Cause he seems small for 1.5 yr old. What have you named him?

No, he hasn't grown too big. He is 1.5 year old, may be genetics has to play a role in this. He is ok in length but height is less, the pic doesn't show it clearly. I will try to share a proper pic little later. We have named him Bell. I saw your cute ones in pics, they are atleast double of his size.

He looks tiny and is super cute. Persians sleep a lot, don't they? One of my friends have one and he is always sleeping. But surprisingly, he isn't obese. Beneath all that fur, it is a small cat after all, weighs just about 2.5kg.

What do you feed him? Taurine deficiency slows growth. My kitten didn't grow much from 3 months old to 6 months old & then I started adding Taurine supplements and then he grew very rapidly - compensated for the 3 months of no growth within a month.
Commercial food has Taurine. Home cooked food has very little taurine because cooking destroys most of the taurine. Unlike dogs and humans, cats cannot produce their own taurine & it's very important to their health (not just growth).

And here i thought my elder cat Coco who is all hair was slim at 4.3kgs. The other one Cookie gobbles up food and cuddles all the time and is 5.1 kgs now. Though he is not fat or atleast doesn't look like it. Vet had said gaining weight happens after being neutered.

Carboy is correct. Domesticated cat won't be able to get all its nutrients from home food alone.

He was on Royal Canin Persian kitten food till he was 10 months old. After that it is Royal Canin Persian Adult but he eats in very small quantities. We tried Me-o once or twice, he didn't like it. He is very fond of boiled eggs, chicken and all kinds of fruits too. We have never fed him any other home cooked food. I understand your concern here, but don't worry, he is well active and we take good care of him, regular visits to vet, grooming sessions etc. Vet pointed it out long ago, that he won't grow too big. Size may vary from breed to breed.

Re: Team-BHPians and their Pets

Yes size depends on the breed, would love to keep a maine coon, but I don't think pure coons are easily available in India at the moment.
Anyway, for a size perspective, here are two of my boys. Both are approx 6kg.
( The slippers for a size estimate)

Re: Team-BHPians and their Pets

Ok guys, here are couple of pics of our handsome guy
Pillow is of standard size and he is enjoying his midday sleep here as usual.

Second pic is a screenshot from a video while he was doing his favourite activity i.e. watching birds. These should give an idea about his size.
