yes. as googleman has replied, a photo would really help and of course the dimensions of your pond. that along with the weather/climate in ooty should be the deciding factors on what fish to keep there.

The original Koi Carps are very very expensive and not very easily available out here. You will get regular carps with similar patterns quite easily though. They are very hardy fishes, and can get quite big and have good longevity. And yes they are best suited for ponds.

Well more tips after you provide more information

Just wanna check with you guys on the websites where we can purchase dog bones (?) online. We had purchased two of those for our doggies, one of them was misplaced (by the doggies) and second one has been chewed to almost 1/4th of the original size. There is a big fight for that one bones; so would like to place order for couple of more of those.

If you mean rawhide bones, check out the pet supplies section of junglee.com. You can buy directly from the vendors' websites. I have bought stuff for my dog from from askforpets.com. Their shipping is a little slow, but the shipment arrived undamaged eventually.

Around 6k-7k probably depending on your location & age & weight of dog.

Looks cute and mischievous, how old is he? Does the color of the coat which is slightly different than normal German Shepherd mean anything or is it just a variety like we have in cars

and the result was this,pulled these out of his right thigh,had it been his stomach,it could have been fatal.

Had this promptly delivered at home. Compared the stuff with what my brother bought at a dog show and found this VFM (from a size point of view). The doggies love this and they finish one bone in almost a week's time.

I have placed another order from the same seller and is expected to deliver it soon.

Would like to know feedback from you guys - Is it OK to give these calcium bones to dogs on a regular basis? The lab has stopped picking rubbish from our property after having this (she is busy munching on this), otherwise the courtyard is a mess when she is out of the cage! Picks up bottles / net / coconut / long poles / footwear / paper etc & places all those right in front of the house otherwise.

Edit:: Though they had some feast on Pedigree last time, this time it's switched on to "Royal Canin".

I can't even imagine the pain your dog would have gone through. Amazing self defense by the porcupine as always though.

Yeah,he was in pain,but recovered now.
Caesar(My GSD),ran after him,and after a few minutes he came back howling,we ran towards him to find blood oozing out from his thigh.
Porcupines are slow,but even the biggest predators read as lions cannot mess with them.
