all of you guys have really beautiful pets.actually pets is a wong word.i would call them "friends".
i always wanted to have a dog as friend but i have had cases where my friends have lost their dogs and have never ever been the same.its really painful to see your pet die in your arms.for the same reasons i have never had the guts to keep a dog.i really dont think im emotionally strong enough to bear the loss of a pet.
the day cloning is perfected or the potion of immortality is found,il keep a dog.....forever.

Just don't believe in buying a dog .... !!!

May be my hound and he can hunt them down together. This guy gets all the rats he goes after. IIRC, he even got one squirrel ..

My Athos manages to bring home atleast 20 ticks each time I take him out. Thank God he's got very short hair.
There are two remedies I know of. One is the "No Tix" powder that I apply on his legs and ears which is somewhat effective. The other is a a solution called Bayticol which is to be applied uniformly as per directions. I was told one should not bathe the dog for a long time if Bayticol is applied.
One person even suggested taking him for a swim in seawater (salty).

I used to have a HHUUGGEE ticks problem with my GSD, but after 2-3 Tick baths with the VET. Its all gone ... yep completely gone. And khaadu you are right about ticks getting everywhere in the house. Another problem is tick fever, Too many ticks on the dog will lead to tick fever.

If you do get Shadow to DELHI then i can take you to the VET in Jangpura.
