Maths-The devil's subject??

Hi guys,
Just had a curiosity as to whether petrol heads like maths or hates it.

As for me, i can survive with it being a subject.

Hate calculus. I thik its like abstract art. If you understand it, u enjoy it for the rest of ur life. Or you simply hate it for from day one. Same with me. Yet gives me nightmares.

and binary......oooh..binary...dont like it much on its own..but gotta love it for what it does!

the only thing i really didnt understand was trigo.

maths sucks...love physics though

Most of what we call maths was created by over-brained egomaniacs who always liked to invent problems more than solving them. They should all have been shot :-)

hey maths is fine with me............. did not create much problem to me, like my frens had lot of prob with it.

for me its fine but not great hearing calculus

Maths is the universal language. Its is the means to all.
Without it we would not have the cars we have today. Coz many of the engine specs rely on mathematical formulae such as the degrees of a camshaft, the angles of the cylinder palcements etc. We owe it all to the geniuses who formulated it. Dyno machines give readings of torque and kW against rpm thru algebraic equations.
Ok im getting carried away... Bottom line... I respect mathematics.

can handle maths well but some times gets on my nerves though!
