Nice videos. Watching the second video, I got the impression that this jeep can possibly overturn under slightly more severe road conditions. I could be wrong here, but it seems to me that 8 adults is a bit of an overload for this jeep under these conditions.

You have a point there... but these drivers do 4-5 trips such as these every day!...so, they would be the best judge of how much load the jeeps can take.

Anyways, it was nice to see first hand what mahindra jeeps could do off road... i'm mighty impressed.

On the off-road escapades, usually 2 per jeep is the norm.

Where is this location? And why someone says "don't take video"? Is it a forbidden place, or he was joking?

I had seen much worse climbs in the munnar hills. The daredevil taxi drivers there trust only the old WWII Willys petrol jeeps, not the later gen diesels. (At least till late 80's).

I have had a similar ride in my last trip to "Edakkal Caves" [http://www.edakkal.com/] in Wayanad, Kerala. Unfortunately I did not click a single photo. If anybody have photos / video please share.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the grade doesn't look steep to me in the first one. The second one is simply too gimmicky. I climb steeper grade at a few relatives' driveways in Kerala with 2 wheel drives.

Disappointing... because I was expecting a 60 degree climb , which is actually impossible unless tyres have claws. It was never more than 30 degree climb at any point.

You could do the same on any 2wd car with enough ground clearance. That was not really a tough climb or anything close to what the Mahindras' can really take. No offense meant.

The climb to the top of Edakkal caves in Wayanad (Kerala) actually seems more scary than this....

Check these 3 tricked out cars

Worth spending the 5 minutes to see this clip. Am pretty sure Sam must have definitely seen more than this or something similar in the vaious shows that he tends to participate abroad. Since we cant make it guess its the clippings for us...

Hey folks the edakkal caves road is pretty navigable and not as bad the road on the video as posted by sidharth. You can drive till the foot of the mountain and park your car and from there on you need to take the jeep. Its optional again, since they have this union thingy there where-in you cant drive your car further and only mode of transport is the jeep.
The distance is walkable also, coz I have gone to Edakkal a couple of times. My hometown is Wayand and if you guys want to do some serious off-roading there are tons of other places.

Benbsb completely agree, try climbing to the top its pretty scary though.

Enjoy this beautiful Ferrari 599 GTB vs Porsche Carrera GT match up video..

Who would have thought that the 599 wouldnt be able to tackle the CGT considering its suppose to be 95% of an Enzo..Of well CGT still remains an Enzo competitor..

CGT is just blazing fast..

Cool video..
