Not to mention, destroying the natural landscape and polluting the water.

This Bull should stay on the road, where it is meant to be.

That is because (1) It is too heavy (2) No Limited slip diff or diff lock.

Even a 2wd lorry with rear difflock will get out of this.

Mahindra is a very good company and makes excellent business with scorpio. But when it comes to 4wd versions, they fail miserably. They take a 2wd vehicle and just slap on an additional differential and transfer case and call it 4wd.

There is more to a 4wd than just 2 differentials and a transfer case. Thats why Mahindra scorpio/bolero perform badly offroad.

Check out how a 2wd with difflocks can have more traction in certain situations like this as compared to a 4wd with open differentials .

I think a better driver wouldn't have faced these as challenges even in a RWD machine.

I love that reversing horn must be very useful off the road

Grass could be very slippery if wet. I think that vehicle is on stock tires; with a set of better tires the vehicle could've pulled through without any help.

Slope

If you look closely there is quite a down slope that the Scorpio is try to traverse laterally. We also can not see what kind of tyres are used or condition the tyres are in. It also looks like the driver made some poor choices especially at the end of the clip.

This and another clip have been floating around on this site for some time. The other clip shows the Scorpio fording a river and doing a very good job of it. I do not think this film prooves much, yea or nay.

scorpio - the guy doesnt know how to drive. he could have gone over the dry patch at start and at the end of the clip, he should have entered the road at a point where the slope was less.

i can bet this ordinary terrain can be negotiated even in a zen and santro. dont need a suv/jeep for this.

Shell Truck Explosion Video

Got this video link through mail,

It claimed that, "A shell gas truck exploded 5 days ago in a brazil shell gas station as a shell employee used a mobile phone's lamp to unlock as it explodes so do not use mobile phones in any gas station"

Mods: Don't know how far this is true. If this is a fake one please delete this thread.
