Whoa! this is cool, unless someone is playing an April fool joke, this design is interesting. Hope the suspension bits complement the look.

I have to say it really is amazing on how this is done. This guy seems to be a professional driver.........
These guys would mostly be just the guys next door. Not really pro drivers there. Google 'Saudi drifting' and you will know what I mean. Having lived in Saudi Arabia for more than 11 years, one thing I can tell you. They are born drivers. The level of control they have to their cars is just astonishing. You must see young boys at the age of 8 to 10, driving cars like Camry and Ultima. They normally use public highways, in mid day time, when there is lean traffic and practically no cops around. Saudi has thousands of kilometers of freeways connecting their cities giving these lads perfect track for their tricks. I used to say 'these guys are born with a car key in their hand (like the old saying of 'silver spoon'.). I have seen many times about 8 to 10 year old boy, driving a Chevvy Suburban, with at least 10 to 12 people of all ages inside, driving into a shopping mall and perfectly park the car in the parking lot.
One thing I have always wondered was 'why these guys are not in F1 or WRC? And the answer I found was they just don't have in their blood one thing - patience. Otherwise, they can beat any D1 or WRC driver.

Just wondering how they're managing to keep the drive wheel that's up in the air from freewheeling ? If that Verna's not "specially" modified for this stunt, the driver has got to be constantly on the brake as well to transfer power to the one wheel in contact with the road. To hold the car in that attitude, for so long, while the guy in the back is doing his bit takes some serious skills - or practice. In either case

Very true ! Lateral load should be about what it would be if the car's cornered at 1 G...

Petrolicious

Came across this channel on YouTube and was so taken by it, had to make it my first subscribed channel.

I loved the presentation, the scripts written on each car, the owners of classic cars and their very personal connections with the dream machines. They have been releasing a video per week.

If you have a YouTube downloader, then these episodes can be kept handy on your phone and pads.

The icing on the cake is the typography that is custom designed to reflect the car or the brand they are showcasing.

Enjoy!

Their baseline, Drive Tastefully, is as good as The Ultimate Driving Machine. Well, almost.

Also, this week/month they highlight a few of my favourite cars, the E21 and the E30:

The Bavarian Experience Teaser
By PetroliciousCo
May 28, 2013

BMW perfected the sports sedan. This simple concept, a winning blend of practicality, performance, stealth, and comfort is something we take for granted today, with competitors from across the globe selling their best imitation Ultimate Driving Machines. Somehow, though, none seem to be able to capture the elusive BMW feel, a magic mix of control weighting, feedback, and response—it's difficult to quantify exactly what makes a Beemer so special, but if you've ever driven one, you understand almost immediately.

Many of us got our first taste of a real driver's car in a BMW, maybe in the boxy-yet-seductive shape of a slightly scruffy, second-hand Neue Klasse, E21, E30, or even E36. Our first furtive steps towards mastering throttle control, cadence braking, apex clipping, and oversteer—the most fun you can have in a car, brought to you by Munich's generations-deep dedication to the art of chassis tuning and rear wheel drive.

Across the decades, BMW has created a disproportionately-large percentage of the world's all-time great driving machines, from 1930s-era 328s through the 2002, CSL, M1, M3, M5, and countless others—we want to celebrate them all. Throughout the month of June we will dedicate much of our time and resources to bringing you Bavaria's best, from insightful owner interviews, stories, original photography, fascinating and untold anecdotes, factory advertising, and of course, our trademark video profiles. Stay tuned; it's going to be an exciting month.
