Hi guys,
Shantanu was great with his photographs...am no where near him..but still.....
(photos taken with Nikon FE/52mm & Casio Exilim Digitial)
Orchid - Taken at Gangtok, Botanical Gardens

Sunset over Rupnarayan River..apprx 50kms from Kolkata

Good pictures, Arijit.
The second picture (Rupnarayan river) - was it shot somewhere in Kolaghat ?
And the beach - is it Digha by any chance ?

And the beach - is it Digha by any chance ? .......
Its the entrance to SHANKARPUR beach.

BTW, where you from??? seems like Kolkata?

Aha Shankarpur - I was pretty close. That's only a few minutes from Digha.
You could say I am from Calcutta; spent a good part of my childhood around that place. Awesome city !

Hey Arjit,

Great fotos!
There are quite a few other people into photography on our site! I guess u have seeen shan2nus work... also check out a topic called "my love" in shiftiing gears, created by rudra....some great photoshop work on some pics in there! and ofcourse not to forget the mahableshwar pics that will continue to be added to the site over the next few days coz there are so many good ones!!

Thnx for your compliments.
Yeps, I saw both Rudra & Shan2nu's pics...and guess those motivated me to put up the snaps I took in TBHP!!

And you know what...I have just decided to dig out few old photographs I had taken and put up on TBHP.

And one more thing, none of my photographs have been photoshopped!!..but after seeing Shan2nu's work, I guess I'll give a try and see what comes out of it !!
