I hope idiotic advertisements such as the latest SX4 AT VVT one gets OFF the AIR!

The earlier one was bad enough with the idiotic "face off" between a silly looking chocolate box hero driving an SX4 trying to take on a monster lorry!

The new one is equally idiotic:

The way the contrast in behaviour and personality is portrayed with the guy opening the door for an elderly couple, lady etc and then later cutting in front of her and zooming past when behind the wheel of the car from the car park seems to me in rather bad taste!
The tag-line is also rubbish - for the Man in every Gentleman!

I would like to know what's so very "manly" about being so ill-mannered?

Very poor quality advertising which shows the wrong kind of message to people - I am sure that it will cause enough people to try and ape/ imitate the ad too!

One more advt which caught my eyes today was that AMul thermal wears. That "Thandi" advt where everyone will be wearing a blanket(from photo session to mahabarat and to pole dance)

The 'pole dance with blankets' part is simply hilarious!

The best ad on has got to be the Tata Safari "Reclaim Your Life" ad

The background song is too good..
As for the worst...well more than 90% of the ads are crap IMO.

The new pidilite(fevikwik) ads are good, the "5Rs" ones.
laughing out really loud when I first watched it. The one in the curio shop was very good.

The recent ads from Maruti were all bad; bad taste, bad sense, bad messages.

+1, I wonder why the channels are still putting up these dumb ads. It is making them lose viewership during those ads. I simply change the channel when these ads come on.

Anyone seen the new Lemon Mobiles ad aired during the India-Srilanka T20 match? Irritating, to say the least

The fevi quik ads are awesome though

Anyone seen the annoying ebay ads on tv recently. It has to be one of the most badly made ads.
