Whats with the intel ads? The 2 guys who grow up together and join the same company. I never understood what they were trying to convey.

I think they are trying to show that the new Intel processors are as big an invention/ leap in technology as the others shown before when they were younger ( like E-mail, Computer games, Wifi etc ) .

We were watching TV and there were a series of typical irritating ads of skin creams and soaps, and in between suddenly there was an ad of Deghi Mirch. My wife said ' Phew, this comes as a whiff of fresh air!!'

No - all other products needed to be explained. But will with the mention of Intel core 2 itself the guy goes hoohohohohooo. Totally stupid ad nonetheless

Among the worst ads in recent times has to be the Yardley ad featuring Katrina. Does she have a knack to pick such dumb ads?

For those of you who can't recollect heres the link from you tube.
Nice AD. But, I am still wondering what triggered this journey of his and what was there in the picture he had in his hand?
Also, what does he see the first time?(Before meeting the postman)

Off late, I have seen some ads which have a very beautiful background score.
One of them is ROCA Bath Fittings, I mean the sound is so soothing but the AD simply idiotic. Plus, the LCD display in the girl's hand has such a funny image. LOL! But, you have to listen to the background score, so soothing. The model...oh so GOOD!

Secondly, the best background score in an AD till date for me is the SONY 3D World TV ad. So beautiful. It actually conveys the meaning quite creatively with a very nice background music. I simply love it.

The Jazz X ad seems good too.

some places did not seem like Kerala. The long open spaces, the tribals, etc.

Heres what I think of it.

As the ad begins, you see the guy wearing a t-shirt bearing MINNESOTA suggesting hes just got back from the overseas and has lost almost all contacts!

So he sets out to find his college sweetheart!

About the picture, must be that of the girl. He shows it to the postman asking about the girl that lived here, pointing to the house. Who tells him that shes moved from there.

Hope that clears it!
Others can also contribute if they have some different idea

EDIT:

I like the new God's own country ad too! For a moment I thought it was another Incredible India campaign, but was pleasantly surprised to find it was for God's own country instead! Kerala tourism is doing a good job!

which tribals? Dont remember seeing any tribals in the ad

I dont know the locations at which the ad was shot - but there are enough wide open spaces in kerala, like the High Ranges for example

A brilliant and sophisticated ad. Aimed at the thinking traveller?

No. thats not tribals. It is an art form ( not sure whether is considered folk or classical) - called Muthappan. A wee bit similar to the classical art form Theyyam, in that it is performed in temples

Someone please take your family to ICICI bank, create a racket out there and post your experience out here. I'm saying so 'cause they have started airing ads from that dumb campaign once again.

And BTW, when do I expect the big-shots from T^T^ at my doorstep to service/repair the T^T^ products that I use?
I'm referring to the M.D. Aamir Khan Titan ad.

Please practice what you preach!
