Joy ride to a car thief?

And what is that idea of giving joy ride to a car thief? In our country, we put car thieves into jail. I am sure nobody liked the idea of joy ride.

Pathetic attitude from Toyota

All is well in the Ad till 0:44s. Then the Toyota does the unthinkable. They fling few loose sheets of paper from the car on to the streets. What do they think? Are our streets dust bins or what? As if this is a proud moment, they repeat again at 1:03s

In one Ad we have Aamir Khan telling people to behave properly on streets and Toyota does the opposite . And the irony is Aamir Khan is Toyota brand ambassador.

I have to ask, what's up with Hyundai commercials? I remember a pardesi ad telling us "it's Honday" and in the Indian commercials they still call it Hyoondaai!

The bride seems to be very happy leaving her parents for good.

Have they ever seen an Indian wedding, especially the moment when the bride leaves her parents ? No Indian girl would seen be grinning at this moment.

My take was that, they leave out all their business behind, enjoy behind the wheels & set a trip to Leh with friends.

May be, Toyota wants to convey that she's happy to leave her parents & sit in a Toyota.

Point - Toyota wants to show they've got happy people driving Toyota like the old Honda ad in US that says - you find happy families with Honda.

PS - My Wifey didn't cry after we got married & when she left her parents.

It is an old ad, that I saw as an email forward. Found this on YouTube (did a search on TeamBHP and found NO links towards this ad!) and thought of sharing this with you all. Some how I loved this add for the way how it is visualized and really gives a in car experience. Hope you all love it too.

There is this Saffola ad coming on TV these days that claims that all you need to do to bring your cholesterol under control is to change your cooking oil, not your lifestyle.
IMO this ad (and there are many other such ads) are misleading to the point of being criminal.
We need better controls in place to prevent such misleading ads.

I am quite amused by your sense of humor. "Leaving her parents for good" is how you describle the bidai ceremony???

Would you not say anything about her parents who seems to as happy as the bride herself????

I have been part of not one but quite a few Indian weddings where the girl didnt weep or cry and was smiling as she said goodbye. Do you have to specifically subscribe to these notions which describe a typical Indian wedding or is it a crime not to cry when you are leaving?

The kind of criticism that some post in the thread have is not even funny. Now thats -->

A surrogate adverisement for Haywards pretends to be 'issued in public interest'! Dizzgusting!!
We men ought to realise that smoking and drinking(so-called masculine and glamourised) negatively affect our masculinity. It's better to be a healthy vegetarian teetotaler and have your masculinity intact.

If it were just a message and not an ad, it would be at least tolerable. Thats just sick and utterly stupid, no wonder this one doesn't air on TV.
