The Best & Worst Advertisements in India

Two recent ads are worth a mention. First, the ICICI 'Love surprises?' ad. The kids are so cute and one is really glued till the end of ad.

Even me . The ads seem like trying to convey we Indians are stupid and don't know how to handle them !

Even I find them demeaning. Although the product is excellent this is not the way to project it in ads.

This ad stopped a few months back i suppose . It might have been mentioned on this forum before .

Its an ad for a cement company , there is this model in a swimsuit who walks up to the camera and starts simpering . The next thing you see it the name of the cement company filling up yout tv screen.

A complete nonsense ad , had no meaning in any possible manner.

The ICICI is great.
A kid in an ad is heartwarming and doubly so when there are two.
Incidentally I feel a small detail has been missed out.When the kid returns after getting the free toffee his pocket is not frayed nor are there any loose threads.There should be. Think they shot the later scene first and then the one with the pocket with the hole.
Or am I imagining that?

Same here. I too, would crank up the volume whenever this ad played, just for the music. Pity Schumi couldn't race to his heart's content at the Indian GP!

HELP-
Can somebody please direct me to this advertisement I am searching for. It came out not so long back.

It has a very cute little boy in it. Its his birthday party and he is anxiously waiting to cut his birthday cake. All this while, he keeps glancing restlessly towards this very big, nicely-wrapped Birthday present kept in the room. His father then lets him open the gift and he gets a new tricycle for himself.

If somebody could please give me any clues as to where I could find this advertisement, I'd be glad.€

Worth mentioning here is the Center Fruit ad - where the foreigners are lured by a local guide. The other guides going labba-labba-labba when this dude flashes the Center Fruit is so stupid, yet hilarious!
