Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

The docomo dhinka chika ad is truly irritating, a sure shot trigger to change the channel. Somehow I don't find fat kids in their underwear wiggling their fat contents as cute. I find it repulsive and disgusting. Few of the really little children are cute, but rest wipe out an sense of 'awww' they might be expecting.

What's the target audience for this ad? Am I missing any clues here?

Found it on "Autocar India" - an ad for fiat linea classic. Definitely t-bhp is revered! 2 comments- one by GTO and the other by bhpian "Johy". The two bottom most comments! Proud to be a bhpian.

@admin: please move it to appropriate thread in case it is inappropriate!

Here's an old Goodyear tyre ad from my school days (80s). Loved it then, still love it.

Thanks H4WK for the teaser !!
I had to replay the video atleast 10-11 times last night, to convince me that it was for real !! The aesthetic appeal is superb !!
Woke up my wife from sleep and showed her the video, and surprisingly she was very much impressed too !! Then we got engrossed in a discussion as to how my childhood dream was to drive a truck !!
I mean, even today, after seeing these Volvo trucks, I seriously want to drive one of em'.

Enya - Only Time. I think it was the OST for Sweet November.

Agree. It is rather disgusting to see half naked kids dancing and then an adult imitating then. Docomo comes up with the worst commercials.

On the other hand, although this ad is very old, I find it extremely funny.

The best part of the ad is when the teller asks the robber to write his account number behind the extortion demand. Pure & simple comic gold.
