I love the old ad of Maruti Suzuki which says, "India comes home in a Maruti Suzuki". Whenever I see these ads, I get goosebumps.

Nowadays, this ad appears in every single YouTube video. It's so annoying and irritating that I can't believe someone got paid to make this.

Tell me about it, the minute that advert comes I just mute the speakers until it goes and the worst part it does not give an option to skip the advert.

re: The Best & Worst Advertisements in India

The funny thing about bad ads is that even when they make it to a 'worst ad' or 'top 10 bad ad' list, they still gain! Because they are still being viewed, still being discussed, gaining some mind-share. And that's the basic purpose of an ad.

The best thing (or worst thing I guess) to do for a bad ad is to simply ignore it, not even criticize it and give it any more media time!

Dumb is an understatement. And Badass - whoever coined that as a catch-word is a genius; probably the only blemish in otherwise brilliant launch of the brand.

Why don't you use an AdBlock extension like Ublock origin on your browser

May not be the worst, but irks me every time i see the power windows roll up on this Suzuki 800.

PS: Please skip to the 30 second mark to watch the windows roll up.

I think this ad is going to be at the receiving end of quite a bit of trolling and memes. I think they could've opted for some other slogan.

Oh wow! I certainly would like to know the manufacturer of the components Would certainly love to replace the one in my car with that. Such fast action.

Is Vi menace a pan India phenomenon? It is so irritating that even my parents started complaining.

You bet, it should be classified as one of worst adverts or brand enhancement activity in the entire TV era. Saying "Vi" in different tones & pitches, I wonder what kind of frequency modulation they were experimenting with. It's the most stupid advert.

The irony is that they owe a massive debt to TRAI and yet here they're spending hoards of money on a brand building exercise. They've effectively bought all slots on major EIC, GIC & News channels and that too during prime time.

The logo seems like someone was so lazy that they placed a V & I on MSPaint and the ultra-long adverts & non existent jingle was conceived by a cokehead who perceived themselves as "Mozart".

I do hope it goes off air ASAP as it's a recipe for instigating a migraine attack.
