I saw the ad and felt depressed. Couldn't understand it at all too.
Can someone tell me what it means?

Completely agree to you on that.

No depth and extremely out of context.

I hate the irritating Nirma ad too where in this sad looking model is teaching a lesson or two to a puddle!!!!

And that too in the irritating Nirma jingle!!

Ok let me try.

The hangman has a sad job of well... hanging people.

He feels bad about it.

But when he comes home and switches on the lights made by Havells, he is saving electricity.

So since he is saving electricity he now feels good.

i.e. the Havells bulb invariably help him get over his guilt.

So next time a chicken comes under the wheels of your car, change the bulbs in your house to Havells.

Are you referring to JK Cement AD or may be Binani cement has come out with a similar babe AD to compete with JK

I guess they are trying to say that Havells provides light to an otherwise dull and boring life that the hangman has.

From what the narrator says in the ad, he earns some "punya" by using Havell's bulbs and saving electricity.

What non-sense!

The hangman is hanging criminals, convicted of the Rarest of Rare crimes.
How can anyone who does this cleanup job be thought of as doing Paap.

In a supermarket yesterday I saw a product being advertised as "low sodium" salt. I don't remember the company. I'm not sure how they make low sodium salt. I've heard some companies replace some part of the sodium chloride with potassium chloride etc. but how do you have low content of sodium in a chemical NaCl that has one ion of Chlorine for every ion of Sodium?

The hangman goes about his routine of hanging people. On this particular day he is surprised to see a familiar figure who is about to be hanged. He can't see who the criminal is because his face is masked. The thought lingers on his mind. The criminal seems to be a very familiar person. Eventually time runs out and he pulls the lever. He walks back home still trying to find out who the criminal was. He reaches home; it's dark and he switches on the light. As the Havell's bulb removes the darkness and spreads the brilliance of light, his doubt also vanishes instantly. He could recollect who the criminal was and things become clear and he is happy.

The Oongli cricket ad's are . Does any one send SMS'es to those stupid question?

That is one hell of an imagination !!

The most lame ad these days is the Pepsi Youngistan ad (again) - what a dumb question to ask the viewers --- " Haha yahi, wawa yahi, Pepsi peeyega toh bolega yahi " --- it is the most stupidly silliest question and Sanjay Dutt looks like a fool in that get up.

And the sad part is, Pepsi is targetting the youth with these ads - what do they think that youngsters in India these days are from Alibaug ?
