Yes, I agree. I have seen many US people do that than in India and I respect them.

That Max Bupa ad is funny

Really makes me wonder that wasting food in a restaurant is crime, but being FE conscious (which is an environment friendly act) is perceived as downmarket by the same set of people.... calling it "stereotypicaly indian".

you dont need anything more than common sense to understand what Maruti is trying to show in the ad - you need to see the ad. am sure they didnt intend to portray the guy as one who understands or is bothered by the global food security (insecurity) issue.

In my earlier post, I said there is nothing country specific in avoiding food wastage or being conscious of such issues - then why aren't the Americans labeled, but only Indians are?

And why do we need to follow America for everything - they are the highest consumer of energy but when it comes to climate change, they'll blame it on to the developing countries.

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

Even I dont like Maruti's FE conscious Indian ads. Especially duplicate VM and defence deal ads etc and the respect part in my comments are for their packing leftover food habbit part only, I missed to add it. I agree with rest of your comments.

Let's come back to more best/worst ads!

There is nothing wrong in you devouring it for dinner either, after all you paid a premium for that food in a restaurant, unless you wanted to impress the waiter serving you.

Why should it not be ? FE is at the heart of every INDIAN, rich or poor. Please explain why there is a 9:1 ratio of diesel to petrol mercs/bmws/audis/skodas/VWs sold here in India ?

This ad currently airs rather a lot on American TV, and I loved it!

The AD for new TVS Wego (did i get this name right) is pathetic. Looks so foolish and stupid. When the whole world says Drive Safe, these guys want them to continue stupid antics by introducing a new feature called "Body Balance".

The new Hyundai ads featuring I45 is quite good. I really liked the ad. Strangely, none of the cars are branded as I45 or Sonata in the ad (looking at the scenes where boot is shown).

+1 to that.
I am confused. Of course, you need body balance to ride a two wheeler.
So what are they raving all about !!!

+1. That's one ugly and tasteless ad. Don't know what they want to convey.

Another nice ad from Bajaj!

Although, not anywhere close to the original pulsarmania ad, this one is a good watch too.

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

I hate the Aam Sutra ads. Why are you pumping s** in it?
That drops are falling on katrina lips in a suggestive manner will not make me go for that drink, no matter what.

And I also hated that ice cream ad. I think it was fiesta.
I did not like the way girls were eating that bar.
