The Best & Worst Advertisements in India

All micromax mobile ads are hopeless.

So is the Colgate ad with Shahid, Genelia and bunch of cricketers, true case of money wasted over nothing.

And so is the ad with Imran Khan getting into ladies compartment and making burping noises!! Whats with that? I get irritated to the core!

I love that mobile ad where the lady at the shop gives the customer "surex" after looking at his mobile.

Vodafone ads are always amazing, the recent one is a single guy playing T with three guys simultaneously, the music there is priceless!

I love the TVS wego ad, "appidi podu ippidi podu engaaaaaaa" love that song for some strange reason and the way the old lady closes the eyes of a monkey doll!

It's an ad - a funny and well done one at that. Take it like one nice funny ad that brings a smile to your face.

If this spoils the character of women what about zatak and axe - and the biggest one the Lava mobile Surex ad ?

I really like it. Others wont. Thats fine by me.

Absolutely fantastic ad. This scenario happens in almost all joint Indian family homes. Including mine.

BTW, I come home today and asked the same question(s) to my wife. Got my answer too.

In the Hyundai i20 ad, the Uber cool one, the car enters the basement and the guy switches on the GPS navi system - I mean what a howler !!

I find the recent Coke ads absolutely disgusting! It is just plain stupid to see 'em shake weird and make that disgusting sounding "burr"

How about Akky fighting with Crocodile for a Thumsup bottle!!?

On top of it his girlfriend's stupid question. I would have pushed her off the cliff to chase the bottle if I had done something like that to get a Thumsup

(and drink the second bottle left in the box)

The best ad I'm enjoying as of now is that Bluestar Aircon ad that airs on English channels (Disco Turbo, etc.). Here, they show a guy who's in his office 24/7 on his computer, much to the envy of his colleagues and the appreciation of his boss. Finally, they show him playing Poker on Windows games, and the reason he's sat there? For the Bluestar aircon's cooling! Sweet!

I can classify all the worst ads under one topic: cosmetics. Whether it be Garnier or Ponds or the other zillion cosmetic ads out there, they are all one and the same. Size zero women, their faces painted like baffoons and meaningless statements. And, did I mention those sickening jingles that go along with it? I would love to give a piece of my mind to the ones who come up with such shoddy ad concepts for cosmetics.

J. K. Lakshmi Cement - A woman comes out of the pool in a two piece, Vishwaas hai, isme kuch khaas hai. Now, thats a super 'cement' ad.

Hate it myself, just cant get what a woman in swimsuit got to do with super cement

Another one I hate is the LG ad with Genelia dancing
