Re: Tata Manza- Tanuka Saan is back!

Hey, thanks for sharing. Tata's ads are innovative, even the Aria commercial made a few months back was good. BTW, some of you might be knowing this, but one of the Team-BHP member had a part in the previous Tata Manza ad. Check out his thread here.

isnt this ad little offensive ! i mean TATA have built a nice car, okay they can advertise in an innovative way but not by offending some country specific reference like "san" i believe.

some day TATA will be a big company and export Manza to Africa/Asia/US etc etc and a local company build a car and create similar ad based on "indian theme" using "sir ji" and i am sure we will get offended

Hilarious Ads and I loved it!

FIAT is being marketed by TATA and I'm really wondering why they don't do something similar for FIAT

AFAIK Fiat is not being marketed by Tata. Tata has partnered with Fiat to handle their Sales and Service, while Fiat takes care of their own advertising (or lack of it).

I do like the linea adv. the one where a guy is sitting with his wife and looks at the car, whereas his wife thinks he is looking at another girl

Oh, c'mon, i don't see any offense in it and am a Japan fanboy, it's like showing we are with the best and they are jealous of us,which should make us proud.
Also if any such ad comes in the future with Indian replacing the Japanese and sirji replacing the san, i would be more than proud to see that we have reached a level that other's want to show they are equal to us.

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

A brilliant advertisement for the Nissan Frontier Pickup Truck:

Plane saved from crash by landing on a Nissan Frontier car

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

I usually skip most of the ads but, offlate the ones that I saw ( and, remember)

Nissan Sunny : I absolutely detest this ad as it looks like proposed by a novice. It can do more damage than uplift its image

Imperial Blue Mineral Water (Men will be Men): This ad comes on whenever the Tata Sky starts for the first time when I switch on the TV. Seen a couple of different ads on same product. I found them totally hilarious

+1. Even I find the Imperial Blue series of advertisements extremely hilarious. Amazing concept and beautiful execution.

1. The one where the guy forgets his wife's name
2. The one where 2 guys argue over the lunch bill
3. The one where a guy travels in an elevator along with a girl
4. The one where a guy is sad because his wife's tour was cancelled

Am I forgetting any ?

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

this new ad by Salman Khan promoting history channel misses the target!
I feel there needed to be some excitement in his voice in promoting the thrills, but his voice in those lines is so darn dull!

Yes, there is one more.
5) The husband who forgot his anniversary.

The ad conveys what's the biggest USP of the Sunny in a simple and uncomplicated way.
Let's not forget that the car is not targeted to an enthusiast.

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

That Nissan pickup truck ad is just brilliant. But, why on the earth is Nissan India has completely ran out of ideas and relying on such stupid concepts like "seen my Caaaaar Keys?" and "Driver bring the caaaaar" in a lift etc.? It just doesn't convey anything related to the car.
