Yeah, this one is really hilarious. I am glad they put this back up instead of the other whodunit ad which was not so good.

Also like the ad with Vijender Singh for Munch chocolate and the older Fanta ad (manwa fantaastic ho jaaye!)

Not sure if this had been posted before. This is ad for Honda's i CTDi diesel engine from 2004. They used to show this regularly in the UK and it was one of my favourite ads then.

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

Did you people see the new Axe ad? Something like a news reader reporting a
'Breaking News' stuff. I just saw it today. Its damn pathetic. I was furious seeing that ad. The ad shows as if girls/women are just sexual objects and are longing for men and fall on men just like that. Isn't there any way to stop such ads? I am damn pissed off seeing that.

I remember that there was an order from our judiciary against such ads which portray women in a wrong sense and that too that order was particularly against ads from Axe only. But why and how again??

Just happened to see "The Hindu" ads yesterday and they were really good. It was hitting the ToI directly.

2012 Hyundai i20 AD - Horrible to say the least.

Hyundai and Tata (with the Aria) are trying real hard to show features like rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps, GPS etc. in the ads that they end up damn silly.

The ad for the new i20 is the pits! This makes the previous one about driving up to a terrace of a building look good.

Re: The BEST & the WORST Advertisements on TV

Did anyone notice in one of the IPL Ads (Tashreef Tokra), a scene in which a man jumps from the roof of a car which seems to be Indica and sits on the Dumping truck seat at the rear and in the next scene the same car changes to Swift.
Is it me or someone else has also noticed.

Note from 0.43 to 0.46

Unfortunately these days, almost every second ad has a sexual overtone to it. Looks like our ad agencies are full of sexually deprived or depraved people. And there is no restriction on the timings that these are displayed. I mean come in, some of them should not be displayed before midnight if at all. It is very embarrassing to answer questions from 4 year old kids as to why someone on TV is gyrating or suggestively indicating something. One question I had recently was about some inverter ad where the guy jumps onto the bedpost and then lands up at an adoption agency. Somebody pleas stop this crap!

there is only so much channel flipping that one can do. These days, such ads are just teeming everywhere.

if not using such tones to sell, these agencies end up using some filmstar to sell something. Where have all the creative minds gone?

it makes sense.

if that Indica waits there it will cause traffic jam, so he moved and the Swift was passing through when the second shot was taken

or the producer didn't pay the Indica guy and he didn't turn up for the retake
