Has anyone seen the new Clear anti-dandruff shampoo featuring Kimi Raikkonen? He says that the shampoo keeps his hair "clear", and that it is essential for it to be dandruff free so that his car's performance can be optimum (that's not exactly what he says, but that's the interpretation, since he says that each part of the car, of which he says there are over 15k, must remain in top condition, and he is a critical component of the car).

If that was not enough, he ends it by saying that the shampoo "keeps his hair dandruff free even in the most extreme race conditions"..!!

I would dearly like to know two things. One, how on earth does dandruff in one's hair affect the car's performance? Two, exactly what kind of effect does "extreme race conditions" have on one's hair to cause dandruff??

In short, one of the stupidest advertisements I have seen in recent times, and it gave me a really hearty laugh..!!

I used to think that the hyundai promo from some time back featuring Sonu nigam singing "new thinking, new poseeee-beeeleetees" was the worst one ever. But at least it was bad.
(Sad also because this from the same guys who brought out the one featuring synchronised slides and driving on the runway ad, remember?)

Usurped, utterly, by the new Camry ad.

I agree that new Camry ad is bad. But IIRC the Hyundai jingle was sung by Shaan not Sonu Nigam. The vocal was good though but the concept went over my head.

Maybe in extreme race conditions, he is tempted to scratch his head. so it would affect driver performance, maybe not car performance.

Anyone watched the new Apollo ad, couple of cute gals drive audi's on a race track and pit lane. It looks more like promoting the Audi car than the Tyre. Background music is good.

The ad contradicts its own previous version for Change the game. are they changing it back now?

I think the concept was to show it more as a warning rather than directly asking telling them to play good. Last time you didn't win, this time you have to!
