The Best & Worst Advertisements in India

Saw some advts of North West Switches and Diapers from Wipro yesterday. Good to see a company who does not advertise much also joining in the advertisement bandwagon.

What are your views on the hyundai getz ad ? "The made in Milano" one. I think it is really crappy

Agree with you; the model tries hard to speak English the Italian way; also seems foolish to see the interior of the car with sun glasses and state that the interior is not in Beige like in Italy.

Agreed, the ad as such is not good. But it really feels good when you hear that Getz MADE in INDIA is exported to ITALY!!

Wipro is FMCG - they advertise cooking oil, light bulbs, soaps, etc. No surprise if they advertise light switches.

I know but never seen many ads from them; only the bulb and santoor ads once a way

That Sanju Panju ad is so irritating. Same goes for that stupid Getz Ad.

I think the award for consistently bad advertising should go to Getz beige interiors ad. Both of them are really really shoddy.

Both the Pepsi "Youngistan" ads featuring Ranbir and Deepika are rubbish. The ThumsUp ad with Akshay driving like a moron runs them close.
Both the spoofs are great. The Vodafone ads are nice too.

The new Good Day biscuits ad is quite weird! Why would people want to gather around & watch a middle-aged, balding man with a pot belly dancing like some bar dancer beats me!!
