I just dunno what to make out of the shine.com ad. It is a job search site but the jingle suggests it's a matchmaking site ad. It seems to be a very confused kinda ad.

Fiddler on the Roof.

Watch that movie if you get the chance. The songs esp the "If I were a rich man" are beautiful.

I liked the Reliance mobile ad, where a guy & gal overhear bread toast, flipping a mag, sans-bahu serial in background of their mob talk!
The gal is sweet and pretty!

Buddy, it gives me immense pleasure to know that a fellow Bhpian has so much knowledge about musicals and that he is willing to share it with others. But honestly, ads like the shine.com ad which are shown on prime-time television are targeted towards the general audience which mostly consists of laymen or common people and not intelligent, well-informed or may I say niche audiences like you. A layman like me who has not seen 'Fiddler on the roof' shall not understand the ad and wont be able to relate to or connect with it and shall post his discrepancy on a public forum like this.
However I am grateful to you for sharing this piece of info. with us and I shall try my best to get my hands on a copy of 'Fiddler and the roof' ASAP.

I too didn't find it that great. They were trying to convey that the phone is meant to play music and satiate the music lover in you.

The Abhishek ad is quite clever, it has an actor well known in the north and a song that is quite famous in the south, 2 birds in one stone.

Anyone Seen The Ads Of Country Club ? it's Somewhat Ghastly but not as Ghastly as The Ads of Atlas Jewelery which is famous among the Mallu lot for being the Yuckiest
