Usually the dealers have a way of checking that out. Did he get it from an authorised dealer?

From the look of it, it doesn't seem so.

is it asking for a code number, it's usually 1234 or 1111 or 0000, dunno i'm not an expert in this.

Anybody else has any suggesttions??

Regards...

See, as far as i know there are two types of locks, one for the sim and the other for the phone. Now which one is locked?

Is the phone accepting any other sim card? is the sim card working in another phone?

Regards...

Hi N_C,

Im not too familiar with the 6600, but i am assuming the MMC is a SD card?
In which case all you have to do is format it in a cardreader, or digicam (that takes SDcards).

That should work,
