It was his brother who shot him and thus pointing to an internal family matter and thus no gossip, no scandal to it but the Media seems to be stuck to the gates of the hospital and everything else has just vanished from the news as if this is the biggest disaster to hit our country .. HOW CAN IT BE BREAKING NEWS FOR 48 HRS ??? Its ridiculous ....

Lets hear what other member have to say on this .... ??

Who really gives a crap after so many days except the news channels & his immediate family?

A politician's shot, it makes news...
He recuperates - 25% wanna know...
The next day - 10% care...
The day after - nobody does.

I think this thread should be closed & preferably deleted.

Thats the reason why nobody posted about it here. The media is always there to cover such topics.

If I remember right, the thread was not dedicated to Dr.Rajkumar. It was to bring out the mindless violence that followed his death, resulting in damage to public property including vehicles owned by some B'lore tbhp-ians.
Anyway, it should be appreciated that no one started a thread on this forum to monitor Mahajan's health.

During the days of DD, i used to eagerly wait for the "world this week", a short one hour program, with lots of quality and substance. Nowadays Pranoy Roy, i guess, is more bothered about which way the ndtv ticker is moving.

OT!!

Who cares what happens to politcians. I certainly do not. Very few of them care about the people of India. They look after number one.

Me too! . I was quite young then, but loved it. Pranoy Roy and the late Appan Menon (if I remember the name correctly).

For all my distaste of politicians, this is sad news. :( Hope his family copes. And Mumbai lives without the madness that visited Bangalore.

Maybe the traffic will get better now. That whole area around Hinduja has been a real pain for all these days.
