RIP Sam Kapasi.

Having known him only as an internet personality, difficult to digest the reality.

May God give the strength to those that miss him the most.

R.I.P. Sam Kapasi. Like most others, I know him thru his travelogues, what a wonderful personality he was. May god give strengths to his family to said thru this tough time.

RIP Sam
I enjoyed reading all his posts and used to search for them whenever I got bored in office. In fact the Mumbai to Delhi in Nano is one of my most favourite travelogues on the forum and my confidence in Nano increased manifold after following it. From audio, where he was obvious giant, to writing proper English to perfect Coffee, Sam would be a tough act to follow.
Based on the titles of his previous threads, even I was hoping that this is a prank. But alas...
Destiny is cruel.

Any details about the accident? How did it happen. How is Jenny? Anyone else riding with them? Will appreciate if BHPians from Mumbai can furnish some details.

I Really Cannot believe it.
Though i never met him,but still i am shocked,as if someone from Family left us.I so wish this was not true,life here will never be the same again.

My deepest condolences to Jenny and the family. Like a lot of people here I never had the privilege of meeting sam in person but his writing and knowledge did brighten my life

Why do such things happen? We'll keep asking and wondering. Life is so unfair..

If anything I was a little jealous of Sam and his fantastic experiences. But he was generous in letting us peek into his life and took us along to such beautiful places around the world (remember Santorini?) accompanied with stories full of wit and great humour.

We'll all miss you Sam.
