Hey ppl

I dunno how many of u saw Cars yesterday on Discovery Channel. It featured the McLaren-F1, Ford GT40, Ford GT, Cadillac 16, Maybach, RR Phantom, Saleen S7 and the mighty Enzo.

It comes every Wednesday at 9:00 PM on Discovery Channel and has comments from editor of Motor-Trend, Road and Track and some car enthusiasts. Worth a watch.

P.S. If this particular episode does come again, watch it for the Enzo. Never has it looked so beautiful. And yea, make mine black!

Haha, we have yet another convert. I didnt particularly fancy the Enzo looks till I saw it in person. From then on, there is just no other.

I did. Wasn't that prog called "The million dollar cars".

I have to agree, the Black Enzo riding on the freeway, between all those huge SUVs looked like it had just popped back from the future.

I found the Maybach 62 the most elegant and proportionate among the ultra lux cars they showed in the prog. The Cad 16 looks like a prototype, something that doesn't belong here, they should have held back it's production until 2050.

The RR Phantom, as we all know, having discussed it xtensively on team-bhp can't be called anything else other than a P**p mobile.

Regards...

Shan2nu, you find it most elegant and proportionate?
I find it very abnormal, proportionately

Compare it to the Cad 16 and the Phantom and you'll agree with me.

And did you notice the Cad 16 doesn't even have a B pillar. Wonder if that was a bright idea afterall. It doesn't even look like a car that can handle 1000 bhp.

Well to be honest i liked the Caddy. Very elegant IMO. The Enzo somehow looked a class apart. I hated the Enzo when i saw it in traditional red. It looked nice, but not special and made me wonder as to "which fool wud spend a better half of his million (now currently trading at close to a million) of his hard earned dollars on something that looks more pseudo F-3 car than Ferrari?"

But in black that car has presence. Does it rival my liking for the Carrera GT? Hard to say now, since my only gripe with the car was its looks. I'd put it this way. I'd keep both. I need the GT for daily use (meant more frequent driving, since my all time fav daily use car is still the E-39 M5) and the Enzo to prove a point to those so called richies flashing their "360s".

hey guys........i saw the show from start to finish....cell phone was switched off so no one to disturb me. i just didnt go weak in my knees, but felt weak all over my body after i saw the show. was having thoughts on how to go steal a black enzo from somewhere. the only other time that i felt the same way was when i was at the dubai motorshow in december 2003 and i saw the Porsche CGT,Enzo,SLR,Cad 16,Maybach,Phantom,Corvette,Ford GT and hundreds or other cars all under one roof. Awesome machines.
