TATA resorts to plagiarism on Facebook. EDIT : Got credit!

i got a pleasant surprise this morning when i saw a picture shared by Jyothy (jkdas) on Facebook! the picture shared was one which i had taken of the Live to Drive sticker on my car and posted in the sticker spotting thread! the shocker was that they had removed the Team-BHP watermark and put it up on their timeline without giving credit where it belongs!

its hilarious to see that Tata has to use the hatch of my Getz and our favorite LTD for their marketing campaign for Safari Storme!

has anyone had similar experience? has your photo been copied and used without your consent?

Are you sure that it is an "official" TATA page? I think that I read somewhere in this forum itself that the page is not an official page and hence, I do not think that we can blame TATA for this plagiarism.

There are at least 4 pics of my car on that FB page and many of Tsk1979s Safari too, they've been there for a long time now.

Their copy-paste regime has forced TATA to show the Mahindra Maxximo image in its 2011 Annual Report. Along with TATA throwing themselves in bad light by such misdemeanor also brings T-Bhp to hog the limelight. I vividly remember seeing your raindrop picture.

it is the official fan page for Tata Safari.

Never expected the TATA's to stoop so low. I did not wanna believe that it was the official fan page until I saw their webpage link connecting to the fan page. TATA motors' PR should come up with an unconditional open apology for the goof up!

On a different note, it is good to see TATA keeping a close watch on team-bhp

just a while back i got a message from Tata (Facebook page admin i guess) apologizing for the unauthorized use of my picture:
