I doubt that its only rubber burning. If u look at the first pic , theres smoke comin from the grille and side fenders. Maybe he's got a exhaust routed thru those places .
Fire out of the exhausts is done thru flame throwers.

There could be a device which throws out smoke.

Hey V12,

I've seen these competitions on TV. ITs become pretty big in the UK and Europe. All they do is burnouts on small hatchbacks. Then the crowd decides who they like the best by cheering loudly and the dude with the most cheers wins!! Dumb but what the hell eh!!

There are no machines...all that smoke is from the tyres themselves. Infact, the latest is to try and get the trye to explode into a ball of flames!!!

Hey Lambo,

Long wheelspins are the best way to ruin your tyres (and i mean REAL fast...) u could lose something like 10,000km of tread in *2minutes of a smoking wheelspin!

So, as you have said you can get a bit of a wheelspin in your cars but no smoke; thats because you still havent started "burning rubber". (ie havent done the wheelspin for long enough), and in most most indian cars (being underpowered) its not that easy to get your tires smoking for this reason.

About the "neons" they don't break eaisly if you get the LED strips. But the thing is that there will just be a small patch of light under your car and it wont look that good (incase you are expecting fast & the furious like results!)
And you turn them off from a switch (wired into the car cabin if you wish)

X-machine, you have a BNR34 !! all u have to do is switch the traction control off....believe me you will have a lot of wheelspins!!, but being AWD im not so sure it will be a smoking burnout, try it in the S600 instead (switch off ESP)Just raise the engine and drop the clutch when in 1st and keep the revvs high. The principle is to overpower the tires so that they break traction, and then do not give them a chance to regain traction again (by keeping them spinning!) but seriously, its not worth it, it just ruins the tires.

Heres a TBHP thread on Doing a wheelspin in an A/T car just for your reference.

And the first pic u have posted the car seems to have some sort of compressed air/smoke system, all show.

Heres another cool burnout pic - some flamable liquid has been poured on the tire and lit up. Once again, i do not suggest this!!!!!

and to scare you, heres what happened to the tire!>

Thnx buddy.Well, first of all i have`nt tried spinnin on the Skyline as yet.Scares the shit outta me here. Will be behind the bars in no time even if i screech on the road. For all these *testin stuff therez a special track....have not got the time as yet to go there.
As far as the S600 is concerned.Well, forget bout spinnin wen i cant even drive it.My dad will kill me if i do so.
Wud luv to do it on sum indian car though. And i think Lancer,City,Esteem or a Zen are the best to try these out on.
Not sure.Wot say??

Keep Rockin!

Just go ahead and do it in the S600. Burnouts will ruin your skyline.

AWD + Grippy tyres + Grippy tarmac = Damaged transmission.

It's possible to burn rubber on AWD cars. Watch Tiff's video of the AWD battle where he drifts and burns rubber on an Evo, Skyline, Subaru and a Porsche, all AWDs.

It is possible, but most damaging on AWD cars more than FWD/RWD
