Hey artofzen.
Nice pictures. Next time just cut size of your image. Now they're 5.5 mb each. It should'nt be more than 400kb each. Problem for those using dial up.
Cheers

Hey Artofzen,

I really like the second pic...
As Rudra said, in future please try and resize pics too 800x600 (1024x768 max) and keep the filesize @<150kb per pic.
They were 2mb each (how did u get the figure 5mb each Rudra )
I have done the needful this time.

cheers
R

After saving and opening them in Photoshop..opened as 5.5 mb each. Not my fault I hope

Hey Rudra,

When you open the file in photoshop doesnt it show you the "uncompressed" filesize, ie the amount of RAM/scratchdisk that the file is taking up after being de-compressed from how it was stored in JPEG, and NOT the amount of HDD storage space the compressed JPEG takes up on disk.

I can't guarantee you the above, but i can guarantee that the Canon A80 (4MP) could never shoot an image that was anywhere near 5mb (it doesnt even shoot RAW).
A 6MP RAW image would be abt 5.1MB. (been playing with the D70 a bit lately....)

cheers

Yes Rehaan you're right about the first para.
I'm not educated enough to make any comment about digital camera. Pretty back dated as you can see. Planning to go for EOS 10D later this year. Till then..
