Hi fellow T-BHPians,

As my username says, I love Subaru Impreza. And, a circuit which excites me most is the Isle of Man (venue of the famous TT race). My "Driver's Fantasy" has them both - To drive a WRC tuned Subaru Impreza in the Isle of Man! :D (Inspiration: Subaru Isle of Man TT Record Attempt video shown below).
And I pray that I get a chance to make my fantasy true, before I die!

Mind sharing your "Driver's Fantasy"?

R32 around the nurburgring. Doesn't get much better than arguably the best and most famous race track in the world with Godzilla.

There are many !

1. Any 200hp+ RWD with road tires around a gravel track/road
2. One of those 800 hp+ muscles with enormous torque, wide rear tires and engine revving at 1000-2000 rpm with intakes above the hood on any normal tarmac.
3. A 4wd subaru, Lancer, soft roader around a very slippery irregular dirt track.
4. Any regular 100 hp stock car with a lot of body roll around a very twisty and curvy circuit.

5. Google "brutus:top gear" and " marauder ! You know what i mean. I am a big fan of rugged unrefined torquey machines.

I HATE refined high revving engines ! Still i drive an esteem with a well spaced out gears:D

My driver fantasy is a little different. I would prefer a nomad type of expedition drive all over India and also Nepal and Bhutan. Ideally in a vehicle like the "Toyota Land cruiser Troop carrier camper". This trip would probably take a few months to complete. Anyone wanna join me? lol

A smooth drive across Kerala on well-marked roads wherein everyone sticks to their lanes, show discipline, and respect fellow road users. And yes, a nice regular petrol car will do – a Laura TSI or a Linea T-Jet :)

Mine would be to ape what James May did with the Bugatti Veyron at the Ehra-Lessien (VW's test track).

Take the Veyron to its max i.e 253 MPH at the aforementioned track! :D
I can't think of anything else that would give me a more thrilling experience be it skydiving or any other adrenaline pumping adventure sport.

-Bhargav

Well!! I have quite a few fantasies:D

- An Aston DBS Volante on the Transfagarasan road.
- A 67 Mustang or a 69 charger with intakes over the hood, cutting lanes Fast and Furious style.
- A Conquest Knight on a pan-India road trip
- A W124 or a W126, lowered, and sinister looking as a daily driver
- Enzo around the 'ring and around the fiorano track
- A trip from Europe to Mongolia and Russian far-east in a 'Mog.
Finally, a sleeper Swift smoking a proper Supercar.

If only wishes were true!!stupid:

My driving fantasy is to drive one of those extremely butch, rugged and heavily armoured bullet-proof, mine-proof, weather proof and gadget-filled military tactical vehicles as a regular day-to-day personal commute vehicle. Oh and the look on everyone else's faces :I Rule:

1) Get to do what the 3 clowns - JC, May and Hammond do, at least for a day.
2) Drive a Volvo bus.

Let's see how that goes!

My driving fantasies are -
1) Drive from any part of the country that I live to Ladakh in a butch 4X4
2) Dune bashing in a Pajero
3) Drift around in a Evo X
4) Have a supercharged Punto as a daily ride, the best sleeper car for me

Some of these fantasies seem achievable but then again, as said above, lets see how it goes.

Kerala roads during monsoons all to myself. No vehicles, no speed limits, no potholes, no pedestrians, no nothing. Just the black winding roads and my Subaru BRZ.

Fantasy right? :D
