Wow!
Salil your work is awsome.
Are those things thought to you at the design school or you were good at it from start?

And Arush bhai, where did you learn this sketching and designing stuff, your work too looks great and I think you now can make it happen too.

Hey ns,

Wats wierd about your drawing? its the perspective, which is pretty skewed up in your sketch. Just get that fixed up and work on the proportions a bit.

And yea, even I feel that way very often, am afraid to wipe out sketches cos im afraid itll become even worse with my second attempt.

Manifestation of my Passion

Like most people on this forum, I've been crazy about cars ever since I remember. My passion manifested itself into
  1. a HUGE dinky car collection (that got passed on and lost between my younger cousins); and
  2. Car paintings/ sketches/ doodles all over the place
Even today, if I meet someone from my school/ engg./ MBA days, perhaps the first thing that they ask me is if I still continue with my hobby. Well, unfortunately, time doesn't really permit.

However, considering the limited amount of time I get aajkal - I still continue with those odd doodles during boring office meetings - earlier they used to be in my homework notebook, now on the office stationary.

Below is a painting I made almost a decade ago when I was 17 (am 26 now). I had used a combination of water and poster colors, finally touching it up with a black felt-tip pen.

It's a photograph I took yesterday - Time has taken it's toll on the colors; still, hope you guys appreciate ..

Hey!
Manveet ..I loved that car...It beautiful especially the wheels....
They would look good if Mercedes gets them on their new concept vehicles...

I too wanted to do such stuff..but my quality is really bad..Can yougive some tips..

ns_jughead..Liked you second car..It feels big but looks small..Nice one..
