Have you not noticed that there are ~13 other numbers that have the same symbol that you choose..... ?

Whichever 2-digit number you choose initially, the symbol will be the same for the result (which will always be any of the multiples of 9). Only thing is that every time you try it, they will keep changing the symbol for multiples-of-9 , making you think that the program is doing something amazing. Works on the principle that whatever 2-digit number you choose, subtracting the sum of its digits from itself, will always return a multiple of 9.

First 2 steps always drive you to a number divisible by 9, in that matrix, all that dog/fox does is display the symbol associated with the multiples of 9.

Notice, all the numbers having the symbol shown were multiplpe of 9, like 9, 18, 27, 36, etc...
