One thing I wish I had - I could live one day of my life as I liked! (Because I don't like the idea that I am not in control of my life

) One day, as I liked; in world without rules & controls, borders or boundaries!

My List.

1. No Infractions on T-BHP

2. No EMI
3. No Income Tax. It hurts every time I look at my pay-slip and then I look at the roads near my house.
4. Control over the TV remote. My son and wife have attained complete ownership.

The Greatest Luxury of all is 'Time'. I wish I had more of it along with the requisite lucre to indulge my passion for travel.

For no infractions we have to consult the FAQs of Tbhp forum and go by the rules!!

No EMI; You are my brother from a different mother on this.

No Tax; Very hard to achieve mate so just lets keep this as a wish.

Control on TV remote; Its impossible.

For me - travel.

Since it is such a "simple" thing, there are many complications. I should be able to have the money to travel. To have the freedom to travel. To be able to manage financially when I am travelling. To be more outgoing - meeting and talking to people. Lesser fearful of unknown situations.

But it is just one - travel.

I would say Peace and Balance of Mind. There are a lot of things that happen to us everyday, and more often than not, things do not happen the way we want them to.

Ergo stress, anger, fear and general mental imbalance follows. I wish I could properly 100% practice the saying, 'God give me strength to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.'

To that end, I have tried vipassana meditation. It helps, but I guess complete peace of mind will only happen if I become a Buddha.

I agree with you mate, Life is a beautiful blessing given to us by god and age is just a number so make every beautiful moment count and you will have beautiful memories always.

This one got me thinking.... Frankly on a lot of occasions I have really thought of what I really miss, it isn't a big car or a faster bike(it would be good if I had them

, but I could still do for some more time without it)... nor do I crave for a lot of luxuries. Being able to watch a movie lying down on the sofa like a blob, does the job just fine. However if i really had to wish for something, it would be those precious few hours to drive off somewhere..once a while where in there are ABSOLUTELY no worries, be it bringing vegetables from the market, getting clothes ironed or those e-mails that are always put off to the next day! Most importantly Good Health. (well if i became healthier being a blob on the sofa.... aaah!

)
