Riding a two wheeler, or in fact just being on the road has fair amount of risk that each one of us is aware about, but is only reminded of it when we have to deal with a situation like this, moreso when the deceased leaves behind a family that has just started to grow. May God bless his soul and give his young family the strength to cope with the loss. RIP Chethan!

I was shocked to hear the news of Chetan25's demise in this fashion and am still unable to believe that he has moved on to another world. Although I didn't know him personally, Chetan (with his Old honda city VTEC) was a frequent visitor to the 3m car care centre where I too get my cars detailed, and there have been many weekends when we have spent time chatting at the store whilst waiting for the cars to get ready, or sometimes even had lunch or coffee together.

He was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guy, yet totally down to earth with everyone. I remember taking some tips from him when modding the Punto too. Even a few weeks back, he took us out for a test drive in his modded VTEC and was telling us some more plans he had on the anvil for his beloved machine. I believe he was more into bikes than cars, but he was a regular at VTEC meets.

Very recently when we both met up at the store, I can still recollect him telling me there was tremendous potential in the importing of aftermarket accessories for bikes, and even importing of spare parts for restoring old bikes in India. He wanted to start a venture focusing on that in the near future. He was a very passionate and ambitious guy who would've achieved wonders had he lived on. Life is cruel!

It pains me to be typing these words in a condolence thread for the same enthusiast that I used to see every time I was at the store. May his soul RIP, and may god give his family the strength to overcome the tragic loss!
