Does anyone know good camera shops in Pune? I am finding it really tough.

Last week, I checked out S2 IS in an audio-video shop on Laxmi Road. I was zapped when he told me that its price is 31,000/- and it is negotiable a bit. When I told him that S2 IS is available at around < 20K and S3 IS is available at < 25K, he said that is impossible.

checkout Sharad stores near Pyramids megastore ( old one ) ... he offers some fair deals.
But i would suggest you to get it from Mumbai. Better deals and lotta options ( companies/ brands/ real/ fake/ china ka maal / dubai ka maal ... LOLz )

Thanks! I'll check it out. Overall, I didn't find it encouraging in Pune. I am also considering Sony H2. Fortunately, I should be able to check it out from Sony's exclusive showrooms in City.

Finally, Canon S3 IS + 1 GB card it is.

Tried really hard to get Nikon D50, but it is available without warrantee and even in that case, it was not easy to find one. I eventually extended my 16K budget by another 12K. (No. None of the T-BHP gurus led me to it

)

I am now hoping to finish my Petra 10K review. (By now, it has clocked 17K).
