Kia to Sell NFTs for the First Time.



Kia announced that it will sell six NFTs from its first collection ‘Kia EV NFT’, which were produced in-house at company’s Design Center using their electric vehicle line-up, from the March 26th to April 1st.

Under the brand slogan ‘Movement that inspires’, Kia prepared ‘Kia EV NFT’ to inspire and relax customers’ lives and provide new and meaningful experiences through innovative products and services and unique brand experiences.

The designers at Kia Design Center under the theme of ‘The Present and Future of Kia EV’ used the first model of the dedicated EV series that is well received in the global EV market, the EV6 to create its first NFT. It will be followed by a NFT of the flagship EV9 in concept form, which is scheduled to be added to the Kia EV lineup in 2023 ‘Concept EV9’. Also Kia’s representative eco-friendly SUV ‘Niro EV’, which will be released in the first half of this year, was created with digital art.

‘Kia EV NFT’ will be sold at a fixed price of 350 KLAY in NFT distribution service ‘Clip Drops’ operated by ‘Ground X’, a block chain affiliate of Kakao, for a total of 60 pieces of 10 each. Customers who wish to purchase can purchase clay from the virtual asset exchange and then send the clay to ‘Clip Drops’ to purchase the work they want.



In addition, NFT buyers (primary buyers) will be given the opportunity to try one of Kia’s electric vehicles on any date from May to December for 7 days and 6 nights.

Anyone else invested in Bitgert/Brise ? It seems to be gaining popularity as a net zero carbon footprint blockchain. I put in some money a while ago after a pretty confusing buying process but it's been overcome with some decent returns so far.

In short you buy BNB for whatever amount you want + some extra because you will lose some in transfers. Send BNB to your Finance chain wallet and then create and link it with a Metamask wallet. Using this you use Pancakeswap to trade BNB for BRISE (Bitgert) which goes into your Metamask wallet. The Pancakeswap bit was the most painful as such. Had to watch a few videos to make a successful trade and do lots of maths

But all done now so it's cool. Recent price drop by 10% or so but overall I'm well into the positive range. Might pick up some more in a month or so.

Isn't that what crypto/NFT fans really want? They reject government control of their investment. Then this is what you get. Instead of a government, some nameless people with no fiduciary responsibility will control your investment.

The only possible way to control your own investment is by hoarding gold, and then never leave the house.

Volkswagen launches collectible car cards in NFT.

The wave of so-called NFTs has reached the automotive world.

Volkswagen has announced Digital Garage, a platform for collectibles created by the German brand for its fans.

With this the automaker is the first brand in the country(Brazil) to offer a collection of digital cards in NFT, which aggregates from cards with cars that marked time to more modern models.

In short, you can now have your own virtual garage mounted with NFT collectible cards with Volkswagen cars from various eras.

To begin Digital Garage, Volkswagen is launching two collections named GT Collection and Pen&Paper. The "GT Collection" line features GT, GTS and GTI models that make up the 23 card options available, among specific versions of models such as Gol, Polo and Virtus, all in more elaborate or digitally finished designs.

The collection "Pen&Paper" (pen and paper, in Portuguese) brings together 45 items in the collection, coming with renowned models of the brand to the example of Santana, Kombi, Brasilia, up! SP2, Fusca, Gol, among others. These cards bring a more basic look of hand-made designs, which were made by the freestyle by the team of designers of VW Brazil.

To have access to Digital Garage, just access the official website and register to have your digital garage composed of cards, which are paid separately. Those interested in can buy the collectible packs, which will be available in three levels of rarity in the best style of album stickers of the World Cup, only available only digitally. The levels are: hero, premium and legend. "hero" cards are the most common and account for about 80% of images, "premium" cards account for approximately 15%, while legend cards are the rarest and are in less than 5% of packs.

According to VW, the cards will be sold on the Digital Garage website itself in three random options, with each pack containing 3 cards and costing $50. The automaker offers a special 5-card pack that costs $75, which the brand increases the chances of getting rarer cards. Payment can be made by card, via Pix or even with cryptocurrencies.

A recent article on VRO on Luna crash and cryptos in general. VRO is one among the most vehement when it comes to speaking against crypto 'craze'.

Before the big news that the Luna crash made, I did not even know the name of the crypto. Dhirendra in the article makes for a funny note on it.

It fell 96.7 per cent over four days and then fell another 99.3 per cent over the next two days. Presumably, the currency's full name is 'lunatic' and it's named after people who invested in it. If stories in the media are to be believed, there were many Indians who had invested in this thing. If your holding was worth Rs 1 lakh on May 5, 2022, then you might still be able to buy a samosa with it, provided you don't go to an expensive place.

As per the article the cryptocurrencies are bound to become zero in the future. I have a few cryptos myself, although not much. I hope they don't become like Luna did.
