Ok guys, we have seen plenty of movies with car chases in it. Some were awesome and some were awful.
I would have started this as a poll but i didnt want to restrict the choices. What are the best car chases you have ever seen in a movie?
Mine would have to be the last chase in Bourne Supremacy. Awesome driving that.... plus, thanks to the handheld cameras, you get to see some handbrake turns in execution as well.
Then comes Days of Thunder, the bike scene in Matrix 2 (or was it 3??) and the car chase in Memphis' Unicorn in Gone in 60 Seconds.
Fast and Furious was good too but i would give it more credit for modded cars than races.

So, what do you guys say?

Yup, I liked the drop dead gorgeous driving on the streets as well. Though the fact that there was a geek sitting somewhere giving them all green lights kinda made it easy.
And what do u guys think of Sandra Bullock's bus driving in Speed? Too far fetched?

even the first TAXI was class.

Ronin has one of the best car chases I also like the 355 Humme chase in The Rock.

Like GTO mentioned the awesome black Countach in Cannonball Run . And the last chase in Gone in 60 secs

hey people . .
i ma so suprised that no one has mentioned the chase in 'gone in 60 seconds' (nicholas cage ) involving the shelby . . . i think that is by far the best chase i ve ever watched . . i think i can watch it over and over again *. .
and then comes the chase involving sean connery and nicholas cage in THE ROCK . . . just love the ferrari jumping out *but it is seriously depressing to watch it turn into a total loss when the tram hits it awwwww
but nicholas cage is so damn lucky . . . 2 great car chases !

Manson, you'd be surprised to know that the last chase in Gone in 60 Seconds has been mentioned by Dippy as well as me in my first post. Agreed dude, thats one nice chase.
By the way, Dippy also mentioned about the chase in Rock.
And i have heard so much about Ronin i am gonna watch that movie this weekend definitely.

"Days of thunder" where they rent out cars and race. The last track race is good too.

"The Wraith" awesome cars racing like mad surrounded by amazing American mountain ranges.

"Fast n the furious" Supra chasing down the 2 dirt bikes. And the last drag with the muscle car.

"Transporter" ther's another car scene where he uses a small hatch and rips it at 140-150kmph finally

Seen this movie called JADE a long time ago... so dont really remember which car was used and stuff.. But that movie had an awesome car chase scene too.
