Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Really shocking and depressing news!! When I got the message from Ajay Satpute this morning I just couldn't believe it!

Being a Sunday, I was sure he was off to one of his many drives in his T-Fort with friends accompanying him. Who can forget his team of Fortuners attacking all the exotic spots around Mumbai/Thane/Pune, and those wonderful threads detailing those trips in the Travelogues & the 4x4 Excursions sections?

Rest In Peace, my friend. You were a renegade against the traditional, and the life of every meet we shared. I will miss your larger-than-life presence and our long talks on everything under the sun. You will be deeply, deeply missed. (Pune Meet, 2012)

Salute!

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

R.I.P! Shocking news indeed. I had met him only once during the Mumbai Pune meet around 2-3 years ago, he was one of the most jovial persons around. Sad to read this news today. He was also one of the fittest guys I had seen around. May God give strength to his family to cope with this sad loss.

Sir, you will be missed.

A great person and founder of the T-FOG group. Have had many discussions, drives and off-roading outings which will always be cherished.

Final Salute Guderian.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

It's a huge loss to the driving community. Harry boy, as I would call him, was a gem and thats how thou shall stay in my heart my dear young friend!

May God give strength to your wife and son. Miss you bro...

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

A thorough gentleman, an amazing writer, with wit so sharp and funny that it would bring tears to your eyes. There were many a time that you made many of us feel good, just by reading what you had to say. What a loss! Will now have to be satisfied with reading your stories again and again. Rest in peace my friend. :(

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

This is truly Shocking, Though I have never met him and have interacted with him only a couple of times through PM, I was a fan of his thread and the immaculate way he maintained his Fortuner. Rest in peace Guderian.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

I opened up this thread hoping it was not Harish. My Sunday has been ruined. I've never met him, but interacted with him a lot outside the forum. His sharp sense of humor is unmatched. A true gentleman and a gem of a person.

RIP

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Rest in peace.

I didn't know him, but did go through his ownership thread of the Toyota Fortuner.

Who can forget the other classic thread by him, living on a razor's edge? Here's the link : http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/shifti...retro-way.html
