RIP Guderian Sir, you will be missed.

I have been following the T-Fort thread with much amusement and had learnt a lot from it.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Utterly shocking!

Did not feel like touching the thread, was hoping against hope it will not be The Guderian.

PM talks with him always felt like meeting a dear friend.

His writings depict his humble persona in all aspects even while responding to uneven discussions. They are an inspiration and shall live forever on the wall.

Rest In Peace Guderian.

Regards
Prashant

RIP, Harish !

Very very un-expected.

On another note, such incidents bring out the importance of threads like the one on diabetes (started by @ECM), or the one on road-rage. Sharing one's problems often goes a long way in getting support - and hence managing such problems.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

OMG, OMG. Pls tell me thats not true. Very very shocking news. Still cannot come to terms with it.

I remember the everyday friendly smiling wave whenever I used to spot him in Thane, those huge moustache curling to show an mischievous side of the gentlemen. He stayed in the colony where my parents stay and I used to stay earlier but we could never meet although we always ended a conversation of doing so. The person with whom I could talk to in my mother tongue and always full of funny talk. We had interacted for long over his Fortuner Insurance renewal process.

I will now live with the guilt that I couldn't meet him during his lifetime even though I stayed close to him.

Rest in Peace Sir. May god give lots of strength to his family to cope up with the loss. I will miss you a lot my friend.

Hi HG,

For me and many more, you are immortalized at Team-BHP.
Will never think for a second that God needed you more than we did.

Your Admiral thread will be greatest remembrance of how much we all got from you.
Our pity that never got a chance to return even the gratitude.

Respect you Heinz Guderian.
I don't want but can't stop missing you.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Shocking. Though I have talked to him only over phone, the memories remain ever fresh. I was an avid follower of his threads and Admiral.

You will be missed, my friend. May GOD give ample strength to the family to tide over the loss.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

This is shocking news.... deeply saddened on reading about this. May God give strength to his family and friends to cope up with the loss.

Never interacted with him but only knew him from his writings on his Admiral thread and other threads. His knowledge always amazed me as did his style of writing which was a pleasure to read.

Guderian - you would always be missed and remembered fondly.

Shocking. May his soul rest in peace

I had met him in 2009 at Mumbai. He took some time out for dinner together on our return from Leh Drive. He had a Scorpio then, and the Scorpio discussions over dinner with his quick witted talks was interesting. Alas! Life has its ways.
