Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Really really shocking. Saddened by this tragic news.

Have been silently following all his threads and was wondering about why he is not that much active nowadays.

God has his own means and ways to call the best amongst us. May his soul rest in peace and god gives strength to the family. A big loss to the community.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Have never met nor interacted with him one-on-one, but he came out as a wonderful person in his posts. Shocking and a very sad loss for all of us.

R.I.P. Guderian.

Condolences to the family.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

I was shocked to read the title. This is an extremely sad news. I was one of many who enjoyed Admiral's chronicles which he documented so passionately. Another huge loss to our community.

My deepest condolences to his family members.

Race in Paradise Guderian.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

I was among the many team bhpians who was hooked up to his thread right from his Scorpio days. He literally made us walk through his automobile life. I am saddened and shocked to hear this news. I don't have the courage to be on team bhp any more. I just can't take it when our lovely members are no longer here with us.

Always had a dream of meeting him in person and gifting him accessories for his Togo Fortuner. I even promised him that the first thing that I would do when I get myself a Fortuner or a Prado is to bring it to him at Mumbai and plan a long trip together with his admiral Fortuner. Lesson learned. Never wait for your dream to happen. Live the dream. I should've met him before.

May your beautiful soul rest in peace Herr General and my deepest sympathy to your lovely family.
You will be missed and we will keep you in our prayers. God bless your soul.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

No idea really what to type.

This for a person I only met once, but had the opportunity to cross paths with online on a regular basis till some time back

I remember vividly the enthusiasm with which he used to rib my cribs and complaints. I always get mad when people do that, but somehow with HG there was always no grudge. Somehow, he had the ability to make a problem seem smaller than it really was. Perhaps thats called bringing perspective.

I remember other discussions and arguments about the Tfort and Safari, toilet humour, breakfast discussions and the enthusiasm with which he would drive down to Pune, but I could not manage to drive over to meet up.

Thanks for the memories HG
Life does indeed sail on...

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

Shocking news.
Got to know Guderian a little during one of the Team Bhp meets organized by HVK couple of years back.
He seemed a man of serious wit and charm.
RIP man...

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

This is really very sad news for all us. Even though many of us never met him personally, it was as though we knew him so well because of this blogs on TBHP. We will all miss him a lot and may god rest his soul. This really reminds everyone that life is fragile and we don't know when it could be taken away.
May his family have the strength and courage to get through this difficult time.
God bless Harish.

Re: R.I.P Guderian!

This is terrible news! :(

Never met him or interacted with him one-to-one, yet I feel deeply saddened. Really enjoyed his Sunday wash session pics & outing reports.

May God give his family strength to cope with this unfortunate loss. May he rest in peace.
