This is made by some chinese company and has only the intial S underneath. But must admit, they have done a pretty neat job . Atleast the exteriors seem pretty proportionate and looks like the mach1 thought not at par with the ones that Maisto makes. And this one is not a collectors replica coz its got push back functionality and is meant for kids to play. But i got it for my collection coz it looked pretty neat for the price i paid

@Cyrus: What brand is the Superbird? I have the Mondo Motors Maserati Gran Turismo. Theyve done a good job. Id say around the same quality as Maisto if not a little better. I have the Scuderia, I feel its a bit out of scale, almost as big as my AA Murcielagos, but it would appeal to your tuner taste. Im not big on the Reventon or the Gallardo concepts. Dont stress about Mondo Motors. They are definitely headed in the right direction. Improving with each model. The Charger, Stang and Supra are all Fast and Furious cars if Im not mistaken. Im not big on ERTL quality. They're more like toys than serious collectibles.

Damn, Now you tell me,The Superbird is also ERTL. It came down finally between the Superbird and the Supra and the Nut in me decided to go in for the Supra..
But your Mondo Advise would have been really helpfull if it came 2 days ago though..

Anything new that will make all of us here envious??

@Cyrus: Sorry for the late post. I just saw your question about the cars. Im sure you'll enjoy the Supra. In a way you atleast get a Supra model. The Kyosho Supras now trade for 2-300$ on ebay. Its quite ridiculous.

New models haha, my collection has gone up 20 fold. I think you can name a car from any of the big scale model makers and I might have it. Latest adds are the new AA G55 AMG, the big merc AA 500SEC and a Kyosho X6.

Haha Ill try and post some pics soon. Which Norev 500? The Fiat 500? My hobby shop here still havnt got it. Im waiting for the Abarth 500. That would be fun. Ive been shying away from Norevs. But of late their 997 911s are really growing on me. Im looking at getting the GT2, Turbo, Turbo Cabriolet, Carrera 4S and maybe the Targa. Is there any other car you're dying to get? AA, Kyosho, PMA, BBR, CMC ? Ill see if I have it and post pics.

There are three cars i am dying to Get. The Fiat 500, The New GTR and the New EVO 10. I am shying away from the big guns as of now though...

@Dippy: The GTR hasnt been launched yet. Both Kyosho and AA displayed the prototypes at Nuremberg and some other Toy Fairs. Im thinking end of this year. The next AAs that will reach Hobby Stores are in the following order : S63 AMG, CL63 AMG, Porsche Cayenne Turbo (Pre-facelift),and lastly the Porsche 928. Some of these are already on eBay.

@Maverick: I really need to photograph and document the collection. They're now stored all over the place. But by the time I click 3 models, half the mornings over. Ill have to shoot group shots I think. I tried uploading some pics yesterday. Didnt happen. I'll try again today.
