I recently gave this one to a friend of mine. I did not like the pearl finish on the paint. It looks dull.

I haven't looked at it as yet. My mother picked this one up for me.

I am still searching for Tata Nano scaled model in Hyderabad. Wish I could lay my hands on one of them. I am also searching for a tractor's scaled model. Wish someone could guide me. Been to LifeStyle, LandMark, InOrbit, Walden and etc, but no luck.

Can somebody please tell me where I can get good 1:18s in Bangalore. I know Modelart is a great place, but is there someplace else? I remember, when I was small, my mom bought me a 1:18 Citroen from Landmark, Chennai (which I broke) Do get those now in Landmark, forum? Please tell me ASAP.

Thanks. I've checked big malls, but I'm not sure which shops I should try.

Any reason for not wanting to go to Modelart?

In Bangalore there are lot of places

1:32 scale go to national market (Rs. 250 Each) some great collection of classics have come.

1:24 At toy stores around the corner.

1:18 At Shoppers Stop / Land mark / Sapphire (Richmond road, koromangla, brigade road) and other big toy stores.

Model art is another very good place as they have 1:18 Signature collection. 1:24 signature can also be found at signature.

Nothing specific. Just that my budget is generally < Rs 3000, and mosst models cost > Rs3000.

I went to Modelart today and got myself a 1936 Merc. Pics and details soon.

Yes sir. Thanks, part of the credit (inspiration) goes to you and the Topaz Bros(who have India's largest collection). Kindly inform me if(when) you are coming to Bangalore. It would be both a pleasure and honor meeting you.

This is the next humble addition to my forum, a Mercedes-Benz 500 K Typ Specialroadster (1936) gifted to me by my grandpa. It cost me Rs 1995. The detailing is just excellent, but the parts are rather too delicate.

AutoArts (starting at Rs 4200) are too expensive for the son of a salaried government official to afford.
