Re: The Scale Model Thread

Automobile Pornography at its best. Got this one so cheap that it is funny. Have been looking for her for ages now. Anyways, This forms a sort of cornerstone for my collection.

Looks good man. I'm a lover of this alloy wheels. Sometimes back that was my laptop wallpaper.

BTW would you mind sharing the price? I'm interested in getting one.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

I had seen this TOY, many a times, in my favorite shop & yesterday I picked it only to find it to be a very interesting one.
It may give our CAMPER enthusiaists some real ideas.
So I'll let pics do the talking:

Re: The Scale Model Thread

Is the Cadillac by Kyosho? I remember seeing it on their website.

Excellent Camper model with ample detailing.

Today I added a scale model (1:10 scale in all probability) of a bike that has shaken the Indo-Japanese strong-hold since 2001 and continues to do so, another triumph of what we Indians are capable of achieving. Thaks to the Vicky.in website, I was able to procure a scale model of the Bajaj Pulsar 220, an important addition to my collection just like the models of Toyota Etios and Tata Nano.

This model is almost 80% metal and except for some flaws (rear view mirror stalk too long), the model is very good. The telescopic suspension up-front works and so do the twin rear shock absorbers (no, the ones on the model are not gas damped as in the real thing!) almost exactly like the real thing, both the crank case covers have "BAJAJ" written on them and even the tyre profile matches the actual bike.

They do a pretty neat job of the cars, and quite often you get the economy cars as well... not just the luxury or sports vehicles... I happened to get the Chinese dealer version for my dad's Epica, pretty well done, carpets, 4 opening doors, workable independent suspension, opening hood and boot... and foldable side view mirrors

Hi Amar. I have also ordered the bike on 9th of June. How long did it take to reach you? I am still waiting for the model. I thought of posting the bike here once I get it, but you have beaten me to it. Great. The bike looks nice.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

The model took almost ten days after I made the payment.

Out of anxiety and impatience, I used to follow-up with them on an almost daily basis by sending them reminder mails and had also called their helpline a couple of times. I suggest you too do the same - keep on mailing and calling them. This will definitely speed up things.

Even i have the same Sunnyside camper albeit a different color scheme. Very nice detailing for that scale and price. Just curious to know how much did you shell out for it.
