Re: The Scale Model Thread

Amar, the AMG Red Merc is looking great. I have seen pictures of similar from another members collection. The detailing is awesome.

Here on my build I have painted a base coat of white color. Even in this she looks awesome.

Manish paint finish of the Honda is very good and neatly done.

Just check whether the part behind the rear brake lamp needs to be blackened? Even if it does not need to be, I suggest to blacken it out, either by painting it Matt black or by applying Matt black vinyl tape.

Manish, your Tuk Tuk is an amazing model, a unique one and collected by only genuine collectors. Seriously.

Your Honda is turning up well and the colour chosen is just perfect. You have an eye for detail

In Bangalore there are two places

1.) Sapphire (on kormangala and on Richmond road), check that they have any in stock.

2.) Model Art (Foram mall koromangla) but as far as I know they do not have the model.

Maisto does not list any 1:18 or 1:24 in their catalog. They remote controlled one tough.

1:18 ProRodz version was available few years ago. Now I don't see any.

1:12 model by Sunstar might be available in Mumbai tough contact Gift centre for that might be around 10 grand.

1:24 model by welly may be available in some toys shop, other wise on line you will get it here @600 bucks. Sadly welly does not do it in 1:18 scale.

Volkswagen Beetle, scale 1:24 in Blue by Welly, diecast scale model, available online in India. dreamcarmodels.com

Re: The Scale Model Thread

Friends,

I have completed my build of the 1:12 Tamiya Honda CB750F. Here are the pictures.

Also I have seen that the quality of pictures goes down drastically after uploading on our forum. The actual model is looking so damn awesome. The the pictures taken were also looking good. But once uploaded they are not good. Am I doing some thing wrong?

Re: The Scale Model Thread

Just recieved my 1:18 Alfa Romeo Montreal (orange) by Autoart.

This was bought from Dream Car Models.com I must say he is a very nice guy. They pack the model so nicely and you get the model in top notch condition. Photo session will follow after holidays.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

Manish, your Honda is just fabulous. The red colour has turned out very well and so have the decals.

I have come across something very interesting: Automania, Mumbai is having a discount sale for some very good models from Minichamps, Kyosho, etc and the deals are too mouth watering.

I have attached a MS Excel sheet having a list of all the discounted models.
Attached Files
File Type: xls Automania discount list1.xls (78.5 KB, 744 views)
