I'll look around for the thread and maybe put in a few posts. He's done a mighty fine setup, almost all the buildings are scratch built to scale. :D :D

WOW Buddy! That's a nice set up. Please do post pics of your Dad's collection, I think there was a thread for Train scale models. Cheers! :thumbs up

My new 1953 125 "U" from Maisto!!

Hello friends
Had visited mantri mall tonight. Decided to check out a baby toy shop called Beanstalk. It had lots of scale models both Bburago and Welly. I didnt get the one i wanted though there were plenty to choose from and they had kept the classic cars behind the sports cars. So kept searching for 40mins for the one i wanted but didnt get. Also an SLK 1930s roadster was available in another store but the Benz star logo was bent so decided to not buy it. It was a Maisto make but the finish was great.

Can this logo be fixed? The pointed star is bent from the stalk that attaches it to the bonnet. I really liked the model and probably will get it if it can be fixed.

Btw there is a toy store on Richmond road next to lifestyle near Garuda mall. Do they keep scale models? Has anyone been there? It seems pretty big 2 storeys of toy heaven.

Regards

My latest acquisition from ModelArt, Forum mall, Bangalore.

I have noticed that we have quite a few threads on Scaled models and R/C cars on our forum and it does get confusing at times to keep track. Well for me it does . From now on please post info, queries, pictures of your collections, dealer names etcc.. on this thread only . It will be easier for all of us and convenient too.

Thanks once again

Hello
Ive been following your posts in this thread for the past few days. Each model has been just fantastic. Great work.
My question is how do you source these kits? Its not available in Bangalore. And how is your paint finish so good. What paints do you use?

Thanks.
