Re: The Scale Model Thread

When a reputed Online Store does a great job of delivering the 'similar' looking scale model as was shown in their website, the result can be quite annoying.

No harm done. I am okay with it

Thank you dear. I ultimately got my Nissan, but its glossy not matt. Now will have to look for a matt black Nissan Skyline GTR.

The finish should be good.

Till date, I visited ModelArt in Forum Mall Bangalore. Not impressed with the finish or the quality diecast models of Lamborghinis and Ferraris.

Any help is much appreciated.
What size are you looking for - 1:18, 1:24 or a smaller scale? In 1:24 scale, the Ford Mustang is fairly common. I have picked up a Shelby GT500KR in the US some time back but the GT Shelby GT500 may not be available in India right now. Havent see a 1:24 G Wagen in India so far.

In terms of physical stores in Bangalore, try Sapphire stores (one is there at Sony World), Hamleys in Phoenix City and the kids section of all large multi brand retail outlets like Shopper's Stop, Central etc: Online options include Amazon, Flipkart, dreamcarmodels and others.

Re: The Scale Model Thread

Hi Folks,

I am from Bangalore and have been collecting cars from my childhood in all scales. Recently I collected the indian vehicles from Centy. Great to see so many collectors!!!

My recently acquired Mahindra Scorpio (made by Centy), along with a couple of older models - Land Rover Series III and Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen.

Bigger, the better as these scale models will be placed in a glass display case.

One friend works for Mercedes Benz and promised to try for some models.

Another member pointed to some models on online sites. Ordered a few.

Yet to visit the physical stores mentioned. I will check them out sometime this week.

Thanks for the tips

Ummm. I am not quite sure I follow. What exactly is the problem here? Is the scale off?
