| Repairing Die Cast Model Hey Guys. Since being into the automotive business and having love for the automotive world , I have a hobby of collecting Die Cast Model. Till now i have only like 15 cars with me. All of them are 1:18 Scale model cause that's the size i prefer. My first preference has always been Autoart as their quality and the accuracy copying the actual car is pretty good. But sadly now days they are pretty expensive. The starting price is from Rs5000. Unfortunately due to storage problem my rare Aston Martin DB5 went into a little trouble. And all the wheels of the car have come off and i can't put it back on as they were resting on delicate plastic spoke wheels. Would really appreciate if anyone who is good at repairing Die cast model can help me out. |

| Planning on getting back into the hobby after a long hiatus. Used to save up my pocket money and buy scale models as often as I could and managed to fill up an old showcase with 1:24s. But now that I am finally earning, thought I should get back and up the game to good quality 1:18s. Starting by getting a Bburago LaFerrari Signature Edition as a present for myself!  Have my eyes set on the 458 Speciale Signature one for next month. Just wanted to know what websites are good to get stuff from? And any recommendations for makes? I am still on a budget though, so AutoArt and Kyosho are a little out of my league, for now. And I didn't quite like the finish on the regular Bburagos and Wellys as much. So any alternatives? |

For the notorious ones, dissection and detailed analysis of what's inside that tiny plastic / metal piece of a toy is very important, so it starts a bit later. But for all auto enthusiasts, collecting scale models really does start somewhere. Here are two such (too small to be called) collections, that I clicked recently.
