yes car-o-phile

I am with you on this 100%

indeed I have been picking up autoArt 1:43 scale models and find them to be impeccable.
unfortunately they dont have many of the cars that I want in this scale. Or else they simply dont import these for some reason.
Im going to contact that owner here in Bangalore before his next set of orders go out and request him to order specific stuff based on our taste.
lets see if he is receptive

You wont be able to get rest of the models.

I think you should go for 1:43 scale models(they are highly Detailed), because 1:18 are of 5000 bucks each.

But you wont get Porsche 997 GT3 & Aston Martin DBR in 1:43 scale.
1:43 scale models range is from 945-1600 bucks. They are cheap & can seriously increase your collection in your specified budget.

I have become a fan of 1:43 scale models from Autoart
I just bought:-
1. 1:43 Lancer Evo IX Rallyart from Autoart.
2. 1:43 Mercedese SLR from Autoart.

I hope this might be of some help to you.

[quote=vivekji05;1527002]Wow. The packaging is well thought out. How do you get them and how much do they cost?

Loved the M6. Can't wait to see more pics of the 335i with the folding roof.

Yes the models arrived from USA and most of models are purcashed from USA Websites or Ebay.com.

Price for M6 is $90 and 335i is $85 with shipping extra

seriously, the 1:43 models are simply marvellous, but they have only 15 models to choose from in delhi.
I had to ask the shop manager to keep the two models i wanted in the cabinet, so that nobody else has his eyes on them.
And you know what when i went there at the shop the models werent there.
But he took out from the cabinet.
i was dissapointed at the begining but ecstatic at the end.
I asked the Manager if they can order some models i wanted even if i give them some advance, he said it would be difficult. :(
If they have them on their site, i am planning to get them shipped

funny - even i regularly do the same - keep telling the chap to keep the models inside the cupboard till I sleep on it and come back. usually come back the next day or in a couple of days, ask for them and buy them.
their product is Tops - no doubt about that!
I m not sure it is worth having these shipped from abroad - for one thing the security levels are poor and many things that I have had shipped in the last 9 months have gone missing in the post/ courier. I ve stopped getting things in via post/ courier from abroad now. better to get them shipped to a friend abroad and have him/ her bring them down when they visit OR pick them up when one goes there.

Manufacturer also please.

Any more Jags available?
Maisto, bought from Pune from Landmark at the SGS Mall in Camp. They have a decent collection of Bburagos and Maistos. I'll be buying a Corvette and Countach 1:24 Bburago also.
