This Marks my 4th Entry here. What i have below is

Scale: 1:24 (Matt Black)

My Perception: The exterior looks great in terms of fit and finish. Interiors are more toyish. Engine bay not displayed. Boot can be opened for TT and R8 (engine, single plastic mould)

1. Autoart starts at AED350 for some models and can go up to AED700
2. MiniChamps has most models starting at AED400 and some go upwards of AED 1000
3. Others -
CMC - AED1000+
Exoto - AED450+
Kyosho also has 1:18 between AED350-700
Hotwheels - AED400+
Highway61 - AED300+
Maisto - AED80+
Bburago - AED80+
MotorMax - AED80+
GMP - AED275+

All the shops are in Dubai, they tend to be a lil over priced, especially the top brands, as it is harder to get those, unless you shop online. And if you ever buy MotorMax, check in Lulu hypermarket (ghusais)if they have stock first, cause Hallmark (Gulf Greetings) charging AED50-75 more for the same models.

Exoto, Luxury Model Cars & the Hobby Store have stores in Dubai Mall.

@ Cabmili - Me too. But unfortunately, hard to find new models from Welly recently. I really liked their quality specially at that price. Not able to find reasonable welly models online too except for their old models.

Auto art for : 5500 - 7000 Rs
Maisto: 1400 - 2500

In europe:
Germany :
Auto art: 90 - 150 euro
Minichamps : 150 - 300 euro
Kyosho : 100 - 300 Euro
Welly: 25-30

In France :
Hotwheels : (1:64) 100 Euros -- I stopped it with that purchase.
All of the above are based on my shopping experience

100Euros for Hotwheels!!! Which ones did you buy?... I've bought Welly & Maisto models from between AED80-120... there are a few 'premium' lines from the 2 than are slightly higher.
Minichamps, AutoArt and Kyosho tend to be on higher end of their respective ranges that I have given, but everynow and then you can squeeze a deal in.

Guys this is one thread where i have been itching to post my pics, still dont have them , but will be doing it soon.

My collection is mostly Indian stuff and Centy toys being my fav brand since its cheap and they do Indian vehicles.I have been colecting since i was a kid and my collection stands at 85-90 vehicles ranging from 1:64 to 1:18

I would like to know if anyone of us has the Below scale models in their collection.I am listing models which we do not get these days in any shops.

All the above are in 1:40 scale which was CENTY standard during older times.

When i was a kid i used to play with these by looking from the rear window and getting a feel of driving it from the drivers point of view.

I use to mimic all the sounds like iginition, Horns , braking , accelaration , sqeeeling of tyres etc.The best part is i can do it even today!
